Adjustment of tax in 3b due to Credit Note

My client has issued a credit note in September. But the Output tax liability is less than Tax reduction in credit note. How should I adjust the amount of Tax reduction in 3B? Because 3B does not accept negative amount in output liability section. Please help me.
