Additional director

Additional Director appointed need not be a executive director. Further powers , duties and responsibilities of addtional director is governed by either article of association or specific power may be vested by the board.

Additional Director is the Director of the Company having same powers as other directors may have.

Secondly, Additional Director may or may not be the Executive or Non Executive Director.

The term additional denotes that the director has been appointed by the Board before the AGM. The additional director is also required to be confirmed in the General Meeting by the shareholders.
