 how much weightage does final a/cs have in case of electricity company 
because niether any q regarding it has been given in study mat nor in practice manual..
is it really important from exam point of view ?

It is because Institute has considered it as not that much important in recent years...

As per recent trend Institute is not asking questions from that part. It doesn't mean they won't ask in next attempt..the probability of asking question from that part is less(less weightage) as per recent years question papers..

It is always recommended to cover maximum portions possible before exam..

Each & every chapter or topics in CA- Study material is important. No Chaper shall be incerted by ICAI Unless it is important.

Don't read to  pass CA , you should have to learn everything to become successful chartered Accountant.

If they mentioned any weightage there is no meaning for CA .

bro refer old study material, u vl get sum prblms solved.... wich is nt in mew study material.....

Calculation of reasonable return and suplus allocation is important.

Replacement account treatment also inportant

These are expected questions. Every chapter in IPCC carries equal importance. If you skip any chapter it will be at your own cost.

very imp. chapter...only two type of ques. u shud cover...Replacement a/c + Capital base

Refer any other material to cover these questions...it will nt take much more tym...dnt wry
