Hello frnd,

you should prepare for AS & IT Act,1961, until and unless any of the amendments is notified by the ICAI for exams purpose, it does not form part of your syllabus, i am annexing you the file telling you the recent course for CA final Nov 2009. until & unless same is prescribed by ICAI in newletter or journal same will not form part of syllabus.

i m also having attmpt due in Nov 10, and remeber in terms of any provisions relating to ammendments applicable to an examination

just remember any ammendment before 6 months of exam is also not applicable for exam, and be sure any of the new ammendments of recent will not be so directly appicable to exam. just look how late SA(Standards on Auditing) although introduced very earliers  but introduced for exams in Nov 09.

So just relax man and stick to current syllabi, if any newthing would come, ICAI WILL inform ourself.
