Dear jignesh

As my idea the acounting standard is for 20 to 25 marks in IPCC exam

& as far as the book is concerned you shuld prepared it form the Board of studies bokks which was provided by the institue to you & if you are not able to understand them propely then you sholud buy a book of "Accounting Standard of TAXMAAN"

u can prefer D.S. Rawat,  or M.P. Vijay Kumar

hai friend's

d.s. rawat or m.p. vijay kumar both r best

Dear Friend

hahaaaa, whatz dis???

Hi jignesh.. As stated above already..., the best book for AS is D.S. RAWAT under TAXMANN PUBLICATIONS....

Moreover, regarding marks weightage, the direct questions asked in objective or subjective form consist 16-20 marks (almost 20% of total)... And indirectly, ICAI do asks for more 10 marks... So, on an average, u can consider it as 25-30 marks....

Similarily, in AUDIT too, SA do consist on an average 25-35 marks direct and 10-15 marks indirect Questions....

Dont avoid any of the standards.

BEST OF LUCK

go for ds rawat

D S rawat  taxmann is good, legible and easy to grasp.

D.S. Rawat is good book of AS for IPCC-PCC.

Hi Jignesh, ur question was about weightage of the topic AS. in IPCC. It will be Max. 10 - 15 marks but yes it is also imp. from audit view point. Together with SA's its weightage is 25-30 marks.
