this is very lenthy & complicated method and not explained in details here, so i write this, if u take serious. I am sorry.
in accounting of share brokers, reciepts come in the form of brokerages, they collect service tax from clients, & get service tax credit less from collected service tax & pay to goverment he pay various type of charges to exchanges like stt,vsat charge, transaction charges , sebi fee etc.& other gen exp. etc
