I have purchase home on my wife name rs.5000000
And 3600000 chq received to party (seller) name and 1400000 received husband name
Now husband books.of account how can accounting entry made.please suggest me

In husbands books record only 1400000₹. No need to record purchase of house because it isn’t the n your name.
