If you are moving out of india, ACCA is better valued and Easier in comparision to CA.In India,A CA has Prilevege given by the statute.That makes CA unique.

Indian CA is intentionally made Tough Whilst ACCA is not that difficult and stressful.

Tough has nothing to Do with knowledge.Both course offer good knowledge base.The Former offers knowledge without stress latter with stress(indian CA).Never the Less Indian CA is and Will remain unique in india.

However you should also note that statutory privelege means Dealing with bureaucrats ,corruption is inherent.

If you are Ethical ,have Good morals,Believe in God and Heaven and Hell!.

Then the uniqueness of the privelege is no more unique.

ACCA is an international qualification and has got the great demand worldwide many MNCs in India prefers candidates having International qualification,where as Indian CA is only valuable in india and it is regarded as south asian qualification and do not have much value worldover.

All of you agree that CA is more valuable than ACCA in India.

Lets talk about Gulf countries like UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain.

These countries are the most racist countries on this planet.

Following is the order of preference :

1. Arab National

2. White ( USA national preference 1, UK national preference 2, Eastern European preference 3)

3. Asian : Japanese > Chinese > Singaporean.

4. Indian.

5. Pakistani, Phillipino, Indonesian, Africans, South Americans.

6. Israeli ( They hate Israelis because of palestine Issue )

Now, I must tell you if a white national has an ACCA qualification, he will be preferred to any non white CA.

Now, If an Indian has a ACCA, he will not get the job, as the job will be given to the white CA.

ACCA is an internatioanal degree and useful for only UK, USA nationals.

Indian CA cannot beat a white ACCA.

But A white CA can beat anybody.

Indian CA can only beat CA and ACCA from the countries of point 5 and 6.

Indian ACCA cannot beat CA from the point 5,6 countries.

Indian ACCA can beat ACCA from the point 5,6 countries.

Now, lets go to USA.

USA gives no recognition to any CA degree except CA from ICAEW.

USA gives absolutely no recognition to ACCA except if its an additional qualification after CPA (USA) or CA ( ICAEW)

US GAAP is the gold standard for financial reporting. So, they consider every other CA qualification from the developing country as inferior.

They are not racist but very arrogant.

Till date, CPA USA has no mutual recognition with ICAI.

Jobs are less.The golden days of 80s-90s, early 2000 are long gone.

Now comes Europe,Australia

Europe and Australia values CA more than ACCA.

CA qualification was started by Britishers.So, they value ICAEW way more than ACCA.

But right now, thanks to Ukraine-Russia issue, victory of Communist party in Greece, all these factors have made Euro very susceptible to a great fall.

There are no jobs in eastern, middle Europe.

Australia is avoiding Indians specifically. The public pressure from the native Australians is forcing the Aussie Govt. to restrict the entry of Indians,Pakistanis, Bangladeshis, SriLankans.

And UK prefers ICAEW.

After CA, its CIMA that has value in UK.

There are Visa restrictions too, which favors CA but not ACCA.

Australia favors CPA from Australia. Then ACCA native. Then CA from developed countries.Then Indian CAs.No value of Indian with only ACCA.

Nobody wants to go to Africa, China, Japan.

Malaysian, Singaporean favors their nationals with CA. After that nationals with ACCA.

Russian favors only Russian speaking individuals. Putin hates English.LOL.

So, I must sum up now. 

Indian Accouting Professionals are valued in Gulf, and in India only.

I am talking about hard facts.

I am talking about an average person with no relative in USA, UK, Australia.

There are no jobs in underdevelped countries.

All these fantasies about ACCA being an international qualification is applicable to the nationals of Developed countries..or should I say " only WHITES"

In abroad, which is mainly in Gulf,Indian CAs still have some value after White CA/CPA and White ACCA.

Believe me, Racism is a reality. And We Indians are not that lucky.

So, do CA and live in India.

You can go to Gulf also, after CA.

But for Job in USA, UK and with only ACCA in hand, you have no idea about harsh realities of life.

Don't go by the marketing propaganda of ACCA. Think rationally !

Very true - For an Indian CA Gulf seems to be great Destination,But the harsh truth is Racism in terms job is absolute Fact.

But Also a note worthy point is ,not many westerners Prefer middle east,That leaves some scope for Indian Professionals but the fact remains of Racism.

This is the reason ICAI published E Kits for Gulf Countries in much detail and great coverage.

Our Ex President Mr. Ragu also stressed more on Gulf. After that Singapore and then Australia.

YES YOU CAN GO FOR ACCA ( U.K).  I have Seeen in many companies in India. In Department of FInance, LIke Financial Analyst or Portfolio Management Profile or Capital Budgeting Profile or In Genpact in U.K Outsourcing work or In U.K Companies In India Or Specially Where IFRS is applicable ,

This ACCA Degree has an advantage too. ACCA ( Association of certified Chartered Accountants) after passing ACCA you have to pass only one paper to become a member of ICAEW .

All Subject which we have studied in CA LIke Financial Reporting, Strategic Financial Management , Advanced Taxation, International Taxation,  Even Transfer Pricing is one of the subject.

IN KPMG, PWC, JP MORGAN  There is huge outsourcing work from U.K .apart from that Financial analyst and portfolio management profile is very famous in Indian companies, who donot require a specific qualification where CA as well as ACCA are equal.

But Taxation Profile in India CA Has Advantage in India. Many Profile in Indian Companies where ACCA and CA Has equal advantage. Financial Planning and control Department in many companies.
