My GMCS- 1 training started from 14th August and was supposed to get over on 29th. So I had planned a trip on the 29th with my family. Now, the problem is they have just announced that 21st will be a holiday (this was not mentioned previously) and so GMCS will get over on the 30th. So, if I miss classes on the 30th will there be any problem? Any help will really be appreciated.

Generally GMCS certificates are distributed on last day and if someone is not presented, he can collect it letter. Speak to person who co-ordinate classes, he will definetly arrange something. If you can go for just hours, go and collect certificate or else collect it after coming from trip.
Mostly it won't be a problem. In my case, I attended the GMCS class for 3 days and later had to absent myself for the rest of the days (medical reason). When I came back for the next batch they let me use those 3 days from previous class as a buffer. I took off on Dec 26th and Jan 2nd (late nights, parties) and they weren't complaining. It mostly depends on the rapport you establish with people there. I am sure they are all friendly and understanding people.

Is sunday will holiday or Gmcs 1 conducted for full 15 days including sunday ?
