Its only an Indian habit to take pride in one's education and achievements.... especially education...

on a CA's name board, you find "BCom FCA" (CA is of course more valuable than BCom, but that its like showing your panache for learning) On a lighter note perhaps its a way to tell the world how far we have come... Indian people like to revel in "Historical cost concept". Do professionals from other countries exhibit their qualifications or even disclose them.....? for them they are vulnerable to estimation of "Fair Value"

But i think it is great that when you ask queries, the person who answers you has the option to make an instant assessment of your level of knowlege of a subject

so does it mean dat our answers are justified or verified wid our qualfn o degrees? n is it customary to hav an approach of dis sort? CA Aldrine
