Which is better either long term insurance policy or short term insurance policy ?

The poilcy decision is based on your risk appetite and the amount which you want to secure for your life. You need to factor the tax savings too at the end of the day.
Actually I am 22 years old. I am taking a policy so iam confused about the term of the policy. Which i have to choose either 20 years policy or 35 years policy.
