we were e-invoice raised to buyer for supply of Goods against sale order but customer order cancel after e-invoice raising how to cancel this bill and time laps 72hr above (3 days).
kindly expose possible solution.

It is not possible to cancel an e invoice after 24 hours however you may cancel the invoice in your books and changes will be done accordingly in gstr1
You can raise a Credit note for that Invoice and file in Gstr1...
You can cancel the E-way bill within 72hr but E-invoice need to be cancel within 24 hr. .
Thus issue the credit note for the same & generate E-invoice for Credit Note.
