In recently announced ca ipcc results I secured 235 marks in group1 and 105 marks in group2
account 57,law 44 ,costing 74,tax 60,advanced accounting 34,auditing 39, IT and SM 32 by looking after my result i am disappointed with my 2nd group mark please suggest me whether to join in articals or to prepare for 2nd group and also suggest me how to prepare theory part

For learning theory parts there is no other way except Reading, Revising and Re~Revising. Based on the opinion of my classmates, a lot of CA students find IT&SM the hardest nut to crack. So unless you have genuine knack for the subject, going through this subject on a daily basis is preferred. Auditing can be a lot more interesting, if the students while reading the chapters, try to view the concepts in context to real world in a step by step process. If you start the articleship now, though the time available for studies will reduce to a great extent, the exposure in the real life practicing environment will help a lot to strengthen the foundations of accounting and auditing. But considering the fact that exams are only 2.5 months away, if I were you, I would start the articleship from June.
