Aadhaar e-sign for MCA documents:
• Aadhaar-based e-sign (via licensed e-sign service providers) is a valid electronic signature under the IT Act, 2000 (Second Schedule). It can be used to sign documents like board reports and audit reports in electronic form, where the law permits electronic signatures.
• For filing MCA forms, a DSC (Class 3) is required for directors and professionals. Aadhaar e-sign isn't accepted for form filing on the MCA portal.
• For attachments (board report, financial statements), you can sign with e-sign, then attach the PDF, and the form is DSC-signed.
• ICAI's UDIN-based audit reports are signed with DSC (or physical signatures scanned).
