Aadhar card authentification?

Hello every time I log in to gst portal I get popup for aadhar authentification. Is it mandatory to do it? If yes, what is the last date to do it for exisiting gst users??

If we have Export/Import, without this Aadhar authentication, ICEGATE details will not be shared...
