Priyanka ...Very well written .....Its a Pleasure to Read such a wonderful post on the eve of New Year... Charity begins at home.....Take the initaitive & Do Whatever Possible You Can.....Thanks 4 sharing such a wonderfull post.....God Bless You......:)

a fantastic post priyanka ...keep sharing ..nice wrk dear :)

Whom should we give charity to?

Thats the main issue

Charity must reach the person who needs it.

In Delhi 50 % beggers are just sitting idle ,they can just go and earn, god have given him everything but they don't. .In connaught place in delhi  ,one begger told me that he makes 1000 Rs a day.

So charity must be given to needy.

On the other Hand ,let me take the case of NGO's.

I am telling one instance:

My Principal used to give donation to a NGO quarterly. One day we asked them to show their Balance sheet and other accounts so we can verify that our funds are going in right hands.

On seing there Balance sheet etc. ,there was some doubt so we cross-questioned their accounts head and found that only 40% of total donation received goes in the hands of persons who need it.

Rest amount they show as rent, salary, other expenses which are all fake .

thnk  u sanjay ji, u hv gvn a new wonderful direction to my post altogether..........i think this post by me on CCI is dedicated to my mum, coz i wud hereby lyk to mention dat the example of sum beggars, handicapped in no way, who jus sit idle & earn by projecting themselves as poor n needy, is often cited by mum to make sure that v dnt fall in their trap n end up giving money to thm.....though i dint use to agree wit my mum earlier , bt nw i hv strtd looking up at thinz more practically.....u r rt, jus lyk my mum...thnk u once again

Nicely written......Thankx 2 u and ur MOM...Keep posting

According to Hindu Mythology we can do two things with wealth.

1) Give Charity ie Daan.
2) Spend on one's own self & family members ie Bhog.

If we do not spend money on our selves or we do not give charity to poor ,the wealth gets automatically destroyed i.e Vinaash.

Very amazing and great , nice

Charity is an important part of modern society / economy that is why laws have been enacted to regulate charitable activities.

Thanks for posting such an excellent article on the subject.Keep up writing.

@ Priyanka

You are welcome
