A question to all qualified CA - campus interviews

 please share questions asked in campus placement here.

I am from Chennai and attended Campus Placement organised by ICAI.

Campus was not organised properly and very disappointed to see the way it was conducted (Except TCS, IOC)

Personal interviews not conducted by many companies since pass percentage is high (Have to interview lot of candidates)  and there was no questions from any subjects.

The main object of Companies was to eliminate as many canditates as possible since they have shortlised many candidates and vacancies are quite few.

I think institute dont care about newly qualified CA's because they will not give any revenue to institute in future.

Please note that It is my opinion and not meant to hurt anyone

questions asked were:-

1. merits & demerits of gst.

2. finance act ,2011

3. latest changes in service tax.

4. what is AS-28?

5. when will we qualify audit report?

6. tell us about AS-30,31,32

7. difference in cenvat & modvat.

8. applicablility of excise duty

9.why  do you want to join us?

10. why do want to join manufacturing industry?                     ( asked in case of manufacturer only)

11. are you ready to work here upto retirement?

12. why did you do ca?

13. tell us about AS-11

14. TDS rate

15. why do you not want to go for practice?

16.  what do you know about ifrs?

17. why are you not looking for a job in your own city?

above questions were asked in interview.

Hey its not that similar sets of questions were asked to everone.....they can ask anything....like it may also be related to politics any current affairs....qustions on AS and anything......no particular set which needs to be followed.....ONE NEEDS TO BE UPDATED ON ANYTHING AND EVERYTHING HAPPENING AROUND........

this is my personal opinion as i had an interview with a bank and they were grilling me on Mamta Banerjee as i was from bengal.....yes there were other questions too....but at the end i can say pls be updated on every aspect....!!!
