No when he had count he will be on one cow .. so total 199but when he came down then total 200..
Lol he might hv 199 crows n 200 cows..
Last sentence says "But this time he got 200" ... 200 what? Dis s nt specified...derefore may b sum other animal than cow...

He counted again cuz no othr cow shulb b missin whch means he already lost 1 cow and at nyt he got all cows bck whch means d lost 1 came bck so that is y 200
While going to field he left 1 in the house. Hence on his return it is 199+1=200
Please read the first line -A farmer had 199 cows in a field.
It means that he had 199 cows in hand and 1at home.
And hence when he counted on field it was 199 and when counted at home it was plus one (+1)

i think he is keeping in mind 199 and start deducting from 199 less 1 is 198. at the end the excell shows 0. ie remaining is one
