Quick Summary
For the financial year 2020-21, companies with a turnover exceeding 5 crores can now self-certify their GSTR-9C reconciliation statement. This change, brought about by amendments to the CGST Act via the Finance Act 2021, means taxpayers no longer require certification from a Chartered Accountant. This update simplifies the process for filing your annual return.
