80TTA deduction in ITR 3

Hi. While preparing ITR 3 I am facing a issue. Assesse have interest income from savings bank and the same is disclosed in Income form other sources. While claiming deduction under sec 80TTA, Eligible deduction amount is showing as zero. What should i do?

If you want to Claim deduction you have to change New regim to old regim.

I have chose Old regime only.

Whatever amount you put in Income from other sources ( savings account) that only you have report manually under section 80TTA column , if you opted for old tax regime . 

Sec 80TTA AND SEC 80TTB

Same issue with me. Old regime, 80TTA eligible amount field is greyed out and showing 0. No solution yet.

If you chose the previous tax system, you are solely responsible for manually reporting any amount you earn from savings accounts or other non-business sources in the 80TTA field. backyard baseball
