80c investement only shown in itr1

if 80C investments are made in the year 2011-12 , you can claim the deduction while filing annual return even if employer has not considered this while calculating tax deducted at source

The investment of 80 C has been done in April, 2012. Can this 80C investment be shown for financial year 2011-2012?

According to me as you have done the investments in April, you will not be eligible to claim the benefits u/s 80C

Agreed with Ronak.You can't claim the 80C deduction as you have invested in the month of April,2012.Though you can claim the same in next year

Agree with above if investment is made in april 2012 , the deduction can be claimed in PY 2012-13 ( AY 2013-14)
