if i purchased mutual finds eligible for deduction u/s 80c by cheque before 31-3-09 but d cheque bounced on 10-4-09 and my holding was cancelled and i had to again re-purchase d mfs. in which financial yr. wil the mfs be eligibl efor deduction??

No ... u cannot claim u/s 80C for A.Y. 2009-10 but its elegible for the next A.Y.year...
