8 marks to pass - can i opt for revaluation?

First off Congratulation for all the guys who cleared their exams. I appeared in Ist group of CA final and got exemption in SFM subject, however I failed in the group by securing 192 marks. Short of 8 marks for aggregate. I was positive that I would be able to get good marks in auditing by I got only 42 in audit. Do you think I should go for revaluation or would it be a waste of time.

IF you are sure then without hesitation go for revaluation....whether u pass or not its not a waste of time at all since you can keep on studying and forget that u filled an application for revaluation...if u pass then its win win..even if u dont passs...u are studying for the same...

Go for it...without a doubt...All the Best mate..

Totally Agree. Do Apply for Verification and also keep preparing for next attempt. If you will pass on verification than Congrats. Otherwise as Ankur said.

You can opt for re counting ( Not revaluation). However, there is only chance to passing out. So, you should prepare in tandem with recounting. If the luck favours you can pass out

hank you Vivek sir for clarifying it. I am going to opt for re-counting of all the 4 papers and a copy of the auditing paper because I feel that I did my best in auditing. Hoping for the best, if not atleast I would be able to see what mistake I have made in auditing that led to my failure and make ammend in the upcomming exam. T
