50% deduction for foreign income

I heared there is 50% deduction in tax for the foreign income. Anyone can please throw light on this.

Suppose i have done some work like design websites, develop software from india for overseas market and received money through wire transfer or through paypal then we get 50% deduction in the tax for that earned income, or is this just a myth?

Hope someone clear my doubt soon.
