Quick Summary
This discussion explores the eligibility for filing ITR 3 when transitioning from presumptive tax schemes (like 44AD) in previous years. The user previously filed ITR 4 for FY 2016-17 and 2017-18, and ITR 1 for FY 2018-19 and 2019-20. They are seeking advice on whether they can now opt for ITR 3 to declare business income, potentially showing profits exceeding 8% of their total turnover.

Yea.. you can file ITR 3 by providing all necessary details
How much profit amount I should declare of total turnover ?
1. What is your Turnover in F.Y 2019-20 ?
2. In F.Y 2016-17 and F.Y 2017-18, you filed ITR 4 that means you have business income in that years, than in F.Y 2018-19, there is no business income ?
