Dear Sir/ Madam,

Kindly help me out understanding the validity of the various tax laws whether it would be relevant or not after the new GST comes into place.

For the December 2016 executive programme can anyone share with me the syllabus which is valid for Tax law and practice of the executive programme.

Hello,

As far as Dec 2016 exams are concern, for Tax laws & Practice GST Will not be applied.

'However you can obtain basic knowledge(Overview) for that, it may be ask in the exam.

As per Dr. Girish Ahuja's Book the syllabus comprises Income Tax Act, International Taxation, Service Tax, VAT and CST. So for Dec 2016 exams, you have to study all previous acts (excluded Wealth Tax).

So in tax laws and practice it would be the Income Tax Act, International Taxation, Service Tax, VAT and CST. Does the provisions enacted during the finance budget 2016 will be applicable if yes can you guide me to the changes of the respective law or some book which you would recommend.
