30+ age years - ca students

I am balaji from chennai, I am presently in gulf and returning back to India finally on 29th decemeber. for me both the groups are pending, hoping to appear in the 1st group in may 12.

yet to start my preparation for it. I have to search job for me and prepare for the exams scheduled to be in may 12.

i am mohsin chikani . I am B.com from 1993 batch Mumbai Universitry. Vleared Group-1 Inter C.A. Old sylalbus. But after taht due to finacial contraints have been abroad all through. Presently i am in Angola working asd Chief Accountant. I am seriously planning to settle down in India, what kind of jobs can i look forward too, How is it possible for me to continue my C.A.

I AM SIVASANKARI. I CLEARED 1 GROUP IN CA INTER IN 98 AND AFTER MARRIAGE  I DIDN'T TOUCH CA FOR 10  YEARS . NOW I HAVE REREGISTERED AND CLEARED PE 2 AND NOW PREPARING FOR FINAL.

my last group left (group 2) of CA final. i started CA after my marriage. trying to keep balance between marriage and studies..i am doing self studies..i am from b'lore. hope u all could suggest me how to go abt in DT n costing.

for direct tax t n manoharan is the best. for costing you can go for padhuka's since it is Q & A type and also it covers past years questions, rtps etc.

Its difficult to understand costing from Padhuka.

1) Direct Tax: go for vinod gupta or padhuka

2) Costing: study material and past test paper. Padhuka is bit lengthy and confusing.

Iam Thiru from Coimbatore. Iam also in the age of 30+. Still iam having 2 gropus pending in FINAL. Having hopes to clear in forthcoming attempts. 

We will try our level best to clear CA  and should not give up eventhough pressure from all sides in our life.

hi same here. second grp three subjects pending i started working as articleship ended so i was not getting proper time to study even my article perio di used to travel lot so i could not study i gor married now and in goverement job last 1 yrs.recently i gave interview for bank but got rejected since ca was not complete . many boys and girls were there who are ca at very young age. ialways fel bad when i see that i m not ca till the time

Hi, I've completed MCA (Master of Computer Applications,2008 Batch) and presently working in one of the reputed IT Companies in the country.I cleared my CA Inter alongwith MCA 2nd Sem,i.e., 1st year and as MCA was a regular course,so couldn't go for the final exam with articleship training. I've lost 4 years after my Graduation.1 year and 4 months again lost after completing MCA due to delay in joining as a consequence of recession.Now,I am 32 years of age.Have 3+ years of work experience in IT. I desperately want to complete my CA final.I'd like to know the followings : After 2 years of articleship,I'd like to go for Industrial training.will there be any problem for my loss of years and my age over 30? After clearing CA Final course I'll be of 35+ years.Will there be problem in getting into Corporate Sectors as a Fresh CA at that age? Or, will it be of any help if I have 3 years of work experience? Many around me have an opinion that - ' it'll be difficult to get a job as a CA fresher at that age & would be able to get a job but that may not be a branded company or something, unless I perform something termed as 'superb' in CA Final. ' Whenever I find some advertisements for CA I find the age criteria to be within 30. Also, I hear that if this work experience was not in Finance sector, therefore, there may be difficulties in getting a job as a fresher (CA) at the age of 35+. So, I am in great anxiety before starting my CA Final Course (Articleship).
