3 YEARS FOR CA FINAL - WHY? (please reply........)

i have passed 1st group of pe-ii  and gave 2nd group in nov.2005 and i am sure of passing this. so my final attempt will be in nov.2008 and if i pass ca final in first attempt then i will be ca in jan.2009 so 3 years after passing pe-ii.  i am also in cs final. my query is

                 a. should i fully concentrate on my articleship training or prepare for some higher level course like (cima,acca, us cfa,) please guide me that how i can utilise these 3 years very EFFECTIVELY?
                 
                  B.my second query is that my 2.5 year articleship completes on july 31 2008 so can i give exam of may 2008 ( only 2 month before my articleship)
