Quick Summary
This discussion clarifies the applicability of Section 206C(1H) of the Income Tax Act regarding advance payments for stock supply. If an advance of Rs. 3 crores was received in FY 2019-20 for stock supplied on 01-03-2021, Section 206C(1H) is generally not applicable as it came into effect from 01.10.2020. TCS is not applicable if the payment was received before 30.09.2020, even for advance receipts. However, it's crucial to also check the Rs. 10 crore and Rs. 50 lakh turnover eligibility criteria.

If payment has been received during fy19-20, tcs is not applicable on such transactions.

206C(1H) was applicable from 01.10.2020. So if payment has been received before 30.09.2020 then no TCS will be applicable.
Payment from -Creditor.

I Think -Debtor.

It's applicable for advance receipts also.

But you check the eligibility of 10 Crore and 50 Lakhs Turnover as well.
