I want to know if I can file IT return for the period 2011 - 2012 manual or online.
I dont know much on how these things work so it will be great if some guru would be able to comment.

Dear Karan,
You can not file IT return of financial year 2011-12, as last date to file the same was 31.03.2014.
Dear kiran,
As I aggred with the davanand sir, under sec 139(4) last date for filling of IT return is one year from the end of relavent assessment year (or) completion assessment of such previous year whichever is earlier.
In ur case last date is 31.03.2014.
So u can't file for such p.y 11-12
