Can 2 gst numbers in different states with same proprietor and legal name have same current account for business transactions?

Every state has different state code under GST.

So even the same proprietor can have different GST numbers.

Check if the GST website accepts it.

Yes bank account can be same.

Not the same current account with two different legal name and trade name.

Try to update the current account details in GST website.

Generally there should not be any issue since many big organization's use single current account for all India operations

Bank account number can be same as legal name is one and only have two or more gstin as he is operating business from two or more states
