194 j tds deducted
sir my income is less than 200000, but company deducted TDS as 194j can file ITR showing income from other sources and which ITR I filled

File ITR 1 under Salary. Double check your tax credit form 26AS whether TDS deposit has been made before filing.
PLEASE SPECIFY NATURE OF bIZ. 194j pertains to income from Tech Services.
If your major income is Salary and these services are very minor than ITR -1 but since TDS is deducted u/s 194J better to file ITR-4
I get paid under section 194j. For past 3 year's, I have been filing ITR 1 and also got processed without any issues.
If tds is Decducted under sec 194j it is better to file Itr4 ..u Should not show under income from other sources

Yes... we can file ITR 1 as per your reply and return ll be process/processd. Bcoz, It's just feed the data in the ITR form...
In case the return will taken verification then we can't submit proof for based on ITR 1 as IFOS. Bcoz, the above source in not under IFOS...

Dear Mr. Raja, I agree but IFOS does not mean only for interest income isn't it. Under IFOS, there is a provision which saying include other income.
I think IT department has to spell it out clearly about these sections in detail in terms of filing.
But, The same time IFOS not define under 194J...
Also Querist not cleared his income and which way TDS deducted that section. Replies based on the TDS sections...
