Scrutiny u/s 143(3) can be done for returns that are how old? Is there a limit or return kf any year can be picked?

So that automatically implies that only for last one year's return can be scrutinized.
if you filed return for a.y.2014-15 by july 2015..., then 143 (3) can be issued till September 2016...
