If I receive an intimation under section 143(1) from CPC Bangalore showing demand
1) can I file an appeal onlline. Or i need to file appeal with local AO.
2) Whether I file appeal or institute a online rectification petition under section 154 is nor filing a Stay Petition needed. If so, where to file Stay Petition - online or with local AO.

If there is any mistake in computation or error in TDS consideration etc. you can make rectification request through online.

With reference to your query, please note that the appeal can be filed before CIT(Appeals) in paper form. (Not before AO)
If mistake is apparent from the record rectification petition can be filed online or in personal before AO.
Further, you can also file stay petition before AO, but there should be a sufficient ground like rectification u/s 154 filed or appeal is filed before CIT(A).
