05 July 2018Amount deposited under pension scheme is allowable as deduction u/s 80CCC. On maturity when Pension is received from such scheme is it taxable or tax free u/s 10 sub section 23(AAB).??

Only ampunt invested tax free?

Hi,
with same above i have deposited yearly Rs.10,000 for an continous period of 8 years, at end of last year i have recevied Rs.2,40,000,
so my basic question whether it is taxable or not?
is it in the nature of commuted penion, and i am not receiving any gratuity , means i am a private employee?????
