i would like to know what should one join for article ship . kothari or SNB (SAHANI NATRAJAN N BAHL ) . u ahve to keep in mind the tutions part also . internal audit dept in snb and in kothari u may already be knowing . please do answer / some experts who have gone through SNB OR KOTHARI

Statutory audit is better than internal audit ....In Internal audit work u ll start feeling as if instead of article u r an employee of the company or firm of which u r doing internal audit.. internal audit work is monotonous too....

Statuory audit has more aspects of learning & also it will be useful in your exam.

i differ on this, internal is far more dynamic... it teaches u about the practical working-trends in the industry... statutory is useful fro the exam view-point, but its scope is just limited to preperation of final accounts...

Go for Kothari Mehta & Co. if you can't afford to stucy and clear CA all by yourself. SNB is India's no.1 internal audit firm, but no matter how much you may try to convince them even after working like an bull for them day & night, they wouldn't allow you to have tuitions. Because when you go there to join it its already printed in their application form nice & clearly- NO COACHING CLASSES.

And if you think that after working them for around 1 year or 2 years you will take transfer to a small firm and then clear your exams, then forget it. Because it is also printed on their form:

NO TRANSFERS ALLOWED

NO INDUSTRIAL TRAINING ALLOWED

NO CONVEYANCE ALLOWED

If you can survive all these requirements then definitely go for SNB or else try in Kothari because they might be generous enough to grant you time for tuitions.

Hi, I have done work in SNB, first of all decide ur aim whether u want internal audits or statutory audits coz kothari is gud in statutory audits. But i would personally dnt recommend SNB. They dont understsnd from article or employee point of view, they can blame u for anything without even hearing from ur side. That is not professionalism. Join Kothari, my friends had personal experiance that kothari is much better. For more details u can call me on 9899851554.

First of all they dnt have NDTV, radio mirchi as per my knowledge and also IBM daksh not IBM. N my friend its not the audit which matters, its the approach to conduct hte audit which matters. U can learn alot from small audits if ur approach is correct or sum1 guides u but u cant learn from big audits where there is no1 to help u. U can very well understand my words.
