'authorised signatory' for a proprietor

Practise 2959 views 2 replies

Hello,

A client of mine wants to open a Proprietory firm and for that he requires me to become the Authorised Signatory and obtain things like Bombay Shops & Establishment License, IEC Code, VAT, CST Registration etc. since he is out of India for about 10-15 days a month.

Now, what is the procedure for the same and the format for the same? Is a Letter of Authority enough? Does it have to be on a stamp paper? Is a court fee required to be affixed?
