Section - 53 - Committees of board

Committees of board.

53.[(1) The board may constitute an Executive Committee, and such other committees or sub-committees as may be specified in the bye-laws of the multi-State co-operative society:

Provided that the board shall constitute-

(a)	-	an Audit and Ethics Committee;
(b)	-	a Committee on prevention of sexual harassment at work place.]

(2) The Executive Committee or other committee or sub-committee referred to in sub-section (1) shall perform such functions as are assigned to it in accordance with the bye-laws of the multi-State co-operative society.
