Section - 49 - Powers and functions of board

Powers and functions of board.

49. (1) The board may exercise all such powers as may be necessary or expedient for the purpose of carrying out its functions under this Act.

(a)-to admit members;
[(aa)-to elect the Chairperson and Vice-Chairperson or President and Vice-President of the multi-State co-operative society from amongst the elected members of the board in accordance with the directions of the Authority:
