83. Omitted by the Finance Act, 2016, w.e.f. 1-6-2016. Prior to its omission, section 30, as amended by the Prevention of Money-laundering (Amendment) Act, 2005, w.e.f. 1-7-2005, read as under :"30. Conditions of service.-The salary and allowances payable to and the other terms and conditions of service (including tenure of office) of the Chairperson and other Members shall be such as may be prescribed:Provided that neither the salary and allowances nor the other terms and conditions of service (including tenure of office) of the Chairperson or any other Member shall be varied to his disadvantage after appointment."
