Prevention of Money Laundering Act, 2002

81. Omitted by the Finance Act, 2016, w.e.f. 1-6-2016. Prior to its omission, section 28, as amended by the Prevention of Money-laundering (Amendment) Act, 2005, w.e.f. 1-7-2005 and Prevention of Money-laundering (Amendment) Act, 2009, w.e.f. 1-6-2009, read as under :

"28. Qualifications for appointment.-(1) A person shall not be qualified for appointment as Chairperson unless he is or has been a Judge of the Supreme Court or of a High Court or is qualified to be a Judge of the High Court.

(2) A person shall not be qualified for appointment as a Member unless he-

(a)	-	[***]
