Section - 14 - No civil or criminal proceedings against reporting entity, its directors and employees in certain cases
[No civil or criminal proceedings against reporting entity, its directors and employees in certain cases.14. Save as otherwise provided in section 13, the reporting entity, its directors and employees shall not be liable to any civil or criminal proceedings against them for furnishing information under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 12.]
54. Substituted by the Prevention of Money-laundering (Amendment) Act, 2012, w.e.f. 15-2-2013. Prior to its substitution, section 14 read as under :"14. No civil proceedings against banking companies, financial institutions, etc., in certain cases.-Save as otherwise provided in section 13, the banking companies, financial institutions, intermediaries and their officers shall not be liable to any civil proceedings against them for furnishing information under clause (b) of sub-section (1) of section 12."
