Section - 2 - Definitions

Definitions.

2. In this Act, unless there is anything repugnant in the subject or context,—

     [(i)  "appropriate Government" means, in relation to railways, air transport services, mines and oil-fields, the Cen­tral Government and, in relation to all other cases, the State Government;]

[[(ia)] "employed person" includes the legal representative of a deceased employed person;

[(ib)]  "employer" includes the legal representative of a deceased employer;
