Inspection of documents19. Any person may inspect all documents filed with the Registrar under this Act on payment of a fee of one rupee for each inspection; and any person may require a copy or extract of any document or any part of any document, to be certified by the Registrar, on payment of two annas for every hundred words of such copy or extract;Certified copies : And such certified copy shall be prima facie evidence of the matters therein contained in all legal proceedings whatever.STATE AMENDMENTSSection 19Andhra Pradesh : For the words "the Registrar", substitute "the Inspector-General".[Vide Andhra Pradesh Act 6 of 1956, w.r.e.f 1-10-1954]Assam, Manipur, Tripura : In its application to the State of Assam, for the words "two annas" in between the words "payment of" and "for every hundred" substitute "fifteen naye paise".[Vide Assam Act 11 of 1958, w.e.f. 1-4-1958 and G.S.Rs. 85 and 86 of 1960]Bihar : For the word "Registrar" wherever it occurs, substitute "Inspector-General of Registration".[Vide Bihar Act 19 of 1956, w.r.e.f. 21-12-1955]Goa, Daman and Diu :
