1. Omitted by the Tribunals Reforms Act, 2021, w.r.e.f. 4-4-2021. Prior to its omission section 84 as amended by the Finance Act, 2017, w.e.f. 26-5-2017, read as under:"86. Term of office of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson and other Members.-The Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson or other Members shall hold office as such for a term of five years from the date on which he enters upon his office or until he attains,-
(a)

in the case of Chairperson, Vice-Chairperson, the age of sixty-five years; and
(b)

in the case of a Member, the age of sixty-two years,
whichever is earlier."
