Penalty for contravention of sections , and .420. Any officer of a company, or any such trustee of a provident fund as is referred to in sub-section (4) of who, knowingly, contravenes, or authorises or permits the contravention of, the provisions of section , or , shall be punishable with [imprisonment for a term which may extend to six months, or with fine which may extend to [ten] thousand rupees.]
