[Appointment of public trustee.153A.[(1)] The Central Government may, by notification in the Official Gazette, appoint a person as public trustee to discharge the functions and to exercise the rights and powers conferred on him by or under this Act.][(2) The provisions of this section shall not apply on and after the commencement of the Companies (Amendment) Act, 2000.]
