Section - 34 - Alteration in the Register and cancellation of certificate
CHAPTER XMISCELLANEOUS[Co-ordination Committee.34. The Co-ordination Committee constituted under section 9A of the Chartered Accountants Act, 1949 (38 of 1949), shall be deemed to be the Co-ordination Committee for the purposes of this Act.]
1. Substituted by the Chartered Accountants, the Cost and Works Accountants and the Company Secretaries (Amendment) Act, 2022, with effect from a date yet to be notified. Prior to its substitution section 34, read as under:"34. Alteration in the Register and cancellation of certificate.- (1) Where an order is made under this Act reprimanding a member, record of the punishment shall be entered against his name in the Register.(2) Where the name of any member is removed, the certificate of practice granted to him under this Act shall be recalled and cancelled."
