41. Prior to its omission, section 10A, as inserted by the Wealth-tax (Amendment) Act, 1964, w.e.f. 1-4-1965, stood as under :"10A. Directors of Inspection. -(1) The Board may empower as many persons as it thinks fit to exercise under this Act the functions of a Director of Inspection.(2) A Director of Inspection shall perform such functions of any other wealth-tax authority as may be assigned to him by the Board."
