Late filing of articleship completion form 108

Hi, As per institute records, my articleship has completed on 2.4.2015 and my boss has given me extension till 15 july. But he has not signed form 108 and he will sign it on 15 july only. In this situation a condonation latter is to be attached but there is no genuine reason for late file of form. What should I do? Whether I have to wait and can institute take any action upon it? I have asked for filing the form but he told we will submit with dd of 300 and complete the formalities. If its all right then what should be the words into condonation latter? Plz i need your valuable suggestions.Thank you..

Go with ur Principal Auditor........

It is ok for you....

Condonation letter means letter written by principal auditor Mentioning the reasons of delay of submitting the form 108....

DD of Rs.300 need to be submitted if the form is submitted within 180 days.

Can you please attach the format and wordings of the latter? And which are the reasons are allowed by ICAI for condonation? Will ICAI ask for any further communication?

16/77-B, Civil Lines,

Sub: - Request for condo nation of delay and submission of Form No. “108 “(Certificate on completion of “Service under Articles” in case of xxxxxxxxxxxxx Reg. No :- xxxxxxxxxxx

Dear Sir,

With reference of the above mentioned matter it is hereby submitted that I have completed my “Service under Articles” on xx/xx/20xx. The form number 108 is required to be submitted within 30 days thereon. As the same could not be submitted within the stipulated time hence I enclose a demand draft for Rs. 300/- for the applicable fee for acceptance of the same. The detail of the demand draft enclosed is as under:-

I submitted form 108 in May 2016, but ICAI has asked me to submit the form again as there was some overwriting. My problem is that I don't have details regarding leaves taken and details to be filled in weeks which I filled in old form 108. Does ICAI cross checks the form? Also do I have to submit late fees and any letter along form 108?

As per my knowledge if you have filled true and correct details there will not be any problem and it will be better if you file a fresh form with late filing fees and condonation letter.

Does the condonation letter have to be signed by the principal as well? Also it is 11th August 2017 today, Last date for submitting the CA Final November 2017 form is 25th August! I will in no case get the certificate of completion by that time. what can I do in this situation?

Hello, I have a query regarding articleship..actually i got regd for articleship in 2012 and then i got married with my employer and i completed my articleship in 2015 and after that i left my ca course,now i want to restart and did not obtained my completion letter ,now i took separation from my husband so called my employer and he is not ready to sign my completion letter .Pls suggest what i can do now.
